Phyllis Brunson, Business Services Analyst, Workforce Midsouth
Phyllis Brunson, MEdu, joined WMS in 2014 as a Business Service Analyst. In this role, she oversees strategy, program design, and fund development of WMS’s economic development incentives. The work incentives include initiatives focused on workforce, employer engagement, job creation, economic mobility, technical assistance, and related state policies, all of which contribute to expanding opportunities for underserved and underemployed populations. Phyllis is a social change agent who is passionate about her career and social commitments developing a personal connection to each project. Her techniques to promote awareness and equality are rooted in the achievement and triumph of those successes. Phyllis has spent her career working on the alignment and implementation of workforce initiatives, systems, training, and practices.
