What is WIC Week®?

Women in Construction (WIC) Week is a nationwide initiative that advances and promotes the vital role of women in the construction industry. Led by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), WIC Week® brings together thousands of people across the country for events that elevate, connect, and spotlight women in all facets of the built environment.

Purpose and Impact

WIC Week® serves three key purposes:

• Amplify the contributions and achievements of women in construction and construction-related fields.

• Educate the public and industry peers about the opportunities available to women in the industry.

• Inspire the next generation of builders, engineers, and tradespeople.
